Here at Ehrlich's Grooming Department, we believe that just because your pet is not a Grand Champion, there's no reason he shouldn't be treated like one!

When you bring your pet to be groomed, we'll always give him the royal treatment! We love to go the extra mile to make him look and feel like a million bucks. We feel that your pet is worth the same treatment that we would give our own loving companions .

That's why, whether he is just getting a bath or a full scissor trim, we will always clip the nails, clean the ears, and express the anal glands, all at no extra charge.

Our groomers, Bill and Judy are experts in trimming all breeds. Not sure what your pet should look like? They can help you figure it out.

Does your pet have allergies? How about unexplainable flaky skin? Don't worry ... The doctors on staff will be able to diagnose your pet's problem skin, and we have many special shampoos made specifically for various skin disorders. This means that we are well equipped to handle skin problems that may baffle other groomers.

When you call to make an appointment:
The receptionists will ask for your name, whether you are already a client of ours or not, your phone number, your pet's name, your pet's breed, what day you would like to have him groomed, and if there are any special instructions. If you don't have your pet vaccinated here, the receptionists will also ask you to either have your records faxed, mailed, or brought into Ehrlich. For your pet's safety, we will need proof that your pet is current on its vaccinations and fecal tests, or we will not be able to groom him.

We can also vaccinate your pet while he is here to be groomed, if you wish. Just ask the receptionists. They can answer your questions.

When you bring your pet in

Please come in as soon after we open as possible! We ask that you come here no later than one hour after opening, so that we may start bathing your pet as soon as we can. Please click here for our business hours. You must first let the receptionists know that you are here... They will ask you to weigh your pet, and, if you have never been here before, you will be asked to fill out some information.

When you come into the grooming suite, please let the groomer if there are any special instructions for the bath or haircut. We will also ask if your pet is on either Advantage or Frontline, so that we can use the appropriate shampoo, and we will make sure that we have a phone number where we can reach you when he is ready to come home. Please take your pet's belongings, such as their leash and collar, home with you, so that they do not get lost or messed up while here.

Dogs will get a thorough bath, toenails clipped, ears cleaned, anal glands
expressed, a good brushing, a little "pet cologne", and a bandanna. If they are getting a "full groom,"they will also be fluff-dried and trimmed or shaved, depending on what you want. We want to try our best to make your dog looklike whatever you want him to look like, so please be very specific when giving the groomers instructions on how to cut him.Cats will get a thorough bath, toenails clipped, ears cleaned, anal glands expressed, fluff-dried, and a good brushing. We can also trim or shave cats, again, please leave explicit instructions with the groomer.

Other species of animals, such as ferrets and rabbits, will get whatever you wish.As soon as we are done grooming your pet, we will give him water and give you a call to let you know that he is ready to come home.
